Welcome to the Devlog of the Open-Beta-Release of Glorious City!
This version comes with a few major updates in terms of gameplay:
- Building Radii: Camps, fisheries and shepherds can now be placed only four tiles distanced from the next central square, while other buildings can only be placed within a two tile radius around the next central square. Those limits can be extended by scientific or cultural advancement
- Fog of War: Units and Buildings have their own line of sight. If a tile is out of the line of sight of every unit and building, it is covered with fog of war. This means you still now if there's a tribe or a vestige along with the terrain type, but not if there are any units on this tile
- Economic Victory: The economic victory was rewritten. By producing goods, your economy collects economical power. This power serves as economic defense against other economies. Shares in the opposite collect economical attacking power. If this attacking power is greater than the defense of all other players, you have won
- Walls & Watch Towers: You can now build defense buildings against enemies
